Well, I love how fate worked out. We were supposed to do this two days ago, and I tell you what, walking up to the studio, I had this energetic lull. And I was like, man, I would love to take a nap right now. And it just so happens things did work out in the schedule. And here we are on Friday.

And I feel so good today. I got some morning light in, I got my workout in with my kettlebell, I got a little red light therapy, and I got my micro impact on my Juvent. Awesome. Before I got to sit down with you this morning. And so everything just feels aligned. I I love it. So I'm glad we I'm glad we were able to ride that schedule pattern. I'm gonna jump right in with you. You you
bumped into me at the biohacking conference in Austin, Texas, and I ended up getting a Juvent panel at my house to stand on in the morning, which has these micro vibrations. Define that device for me. What category does it fit in in wellness technology?

Well, it's a really rare category, and it's a simple point, but it's a profound one because Juvant is.
A treatment in one sense, but in another, it's not. Meaning there's a perfect parallel in history with the discovery of vitamin C. And it's a fascinating history. And I'm going to go through it briefly because it's it really illustrates the point. For about 300 years, the royal, the I mean the world's superpowers were limited by scurvy. It didn't matter how big the ships were, how many ships they had. The sailors had a pretty finite life because scurvy would take them out, and thousands, if not millions.

Of sailors would die, and they were just part of the, you know, so you didn't you couldn't come up with something that wasn't a bigger motivation to to treat. And the conventional knowledge was rumors and the contagion, they just didn't know. And a Scottish surgeon, James Lind, in about 1746 or so.
Looked at a reference in the British East India Company hundreds of years earlier and did a test on sailors. He had about six or seven, six to ten sailors, and he put them in three groups, and one of the groups he gave them citrus. And these sailors didn't get scurvy. In fact, it reversed it. And it's now known as the world's first clinical trial. So when you talk about clinical trials, this was the genesis of it. So he published his results.
And it wasn't until about 50 years later that the British Navy started to give their sailors citrus. And that's where the nickname was Lime's, because they were sucking on limes, and limes were actually cheaper than lemons. And they didn't understand the mechanism of action, but scurvy went away. Well, it turns out we know later it was vitamin C. Now, is vitamin C a scurvy treatment? It's not.
Vitamin C is a fundamental daily requirement.
That's very different. So vitamin C has a hundred, a thousand metabolic uses. Scurvy is merely the clinical presentation of a chronic deficiency. Well, fast forward to today, Juvent was going after osteoporosis, much like they were going after scurvy. And they found out that the bone requires impact loading. And so

They later found out how to do this, and that's kind of a, you know, we'll we'll shelve that for later. But it turns out it worked. But pigeonholing micro impact as to a treatment or scurvy is really missing the point. It's far more analogous to call it a vitamin of exercise. It's just mechanical, not chemical. And so Juvent sits in a really rare strata where it's not necessarily a treatment.
It's addressing a fundamental daily requirement. And that's extremely rare territory. The last vitamin discovery was in the 40s, vitamin K. And so today, that's the way to look at juvenile. So that doesn't, that means it's a fundamental daily requirement, meaning it doesn't displace anything. Other treatments are amazing, other drugs are amazing, but those are for an indication for that.
you know, for a r resolution of that indication. Juven is whole orbit more foundational. And so when we start to see these patients calling us up, you know, we've been selling juvenile style for about fifteen years, the research goes back about twenty five years. We're seeing
We've counted 22 indications, people reporting, hey, I'm getting better for this, this, and this. And these people don't know each other. They're hundreds of miles apart. And they're calling up and saying, I'm getting these resolution of symptoms. Now we don't advertise that. I gotta make that clear. We don't market it as such. We have clinical studies on several indications, but not 22. And so, like vitamin C, we're still studying it.
And so that's where it fits in. It's literally a vitamin of exercise. It's a vital kinetic as opposed to a vital amino. So the word vitamin was originally a vital amino. Okay. And that's when they discovered the first time a chemical compound that was required for normal metabolism. And that's different than a mineral. So mineral is on the periodic table.

A compound is a little bit more advanced than that, but it's kind of a very rudimentary requirement for the body. And so we've now discovered vitamin A through different varies of B, and now we work to vitamin K. So, you know, I was using this analogy of juven being a vitamin of exercise, because what we're doing is we're extracting the impact that is found naturally in a walking step. That's nature's perfect form of impact loading.

Okay. Well I have a question for you then. Yeah. So why can't people just

Walk. They can. You know, and if I had a perfect diet, I wouldn't need a vitamin supplement. Yeah. And so, and guess what? Walking is better. I mean, in reality, I'd rather have a perfect diet with vitamin C in its natural forms, because an orange, for example, has got a lot of other benefits than the vitamin C itself. However, juvent as in vitamin C can be used as a supplement. And for many people, it's the bridge back to walking.
And there are a lot of reasons people don't or can't get normal impact. So, for example, in a lot of the clinical trials with Juven, many of them run pediatrics. So, for example, kids with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, they can't get impact. They don't run on the playground, play around. And so those kids, on top of those horrendous conditions, their skeletal systems like eggshells.
And the parents will tell you, be careful, don't give them a hug. You know, you might break a rib. And so that it shows you that this is a requirement independent of age. So if you look at a vitamin, let's go through that real quick. There's four characteristics, three characteristics. It's required for normal metabolism, it's found in nature, and it's always a subcomponent.

So for example, vitamin C. There's no vitamin C trees, but they're orange trees, grape trees, you know. And so what they did, they learned to find absorb asorbic acid was the, you know, vitamin C or the ingredient. They were able to extract that. Not simple, but they did, and were able to address it. Same thing with the other vitamins. Two, it's found in nature, and it's it's always a subcomponent. So you know, those three things. Well, juven's exactly that.
We're extracting the impact loading, which is required for normal metabolism. We'll talk more about that. And we're applying it in a very efficient, safe manner. And the four characteristics that are the same as a vitamin, same dosing, I can't do a week or a day and be done for the year. It doesn't work that way. It's the same response, meaning it's not like a drug or a painkiller where I go, it's all done. No, it takes time.
Because what you're doing is you're giving the body one of its requirements for normal healing. And that's a process, not an event. You know, what day does a hair grow? What day does a cut heal? What day does a fracture? It takes weeks. But if the body, you give the body what it needs, it does what it does. It's the same indication, pediatric to geriatric. What day of the year do we not need a vitamin? There isn't. We need it our entire lives.
Yeah. And it's the same retention, meaning if I miss a day, it's not the end of the world. But if I miss a longer period of time, just like a sailor, I could treat the scurvy, I put them back on a ship with no vitamin C. Guess what's going to come back? Scurvy. And in some ways, I call a lot of these diseases mechanical scurvy. Now, this vitamin of exercise analogy is actually, I realized, it's more than that. New science needs new words.
And that's why I call it a vita kin, a vital kinetic. Because the science, the juvent was done by an amazing team of researchers. And they did over, they spent like 40 million dollars in development, and they did many, many studies, everything from petri dish, small animal, large animal, human. And that's what they were able to come. So there's nothing simple about a juvent.

Yeah. I wanna I wanna actually ask you if you could walk us through the technology. Tell me a little bit about what is Juvent. Like what is what is inside that box that people are standing on and we're getting this micro impact.
Peter Simonson (10:16.504)
Correct. Well, let's talk about the micro first. it's because it's really a key component. So, first of all, for your audience, let's understand. Juven is a platform, you stand on it. It has extremely underwhelming mechanical movement. Okay, it's just move it's moving up and down 5% of one millimeter. Okay. It's really low. And there's a reason for that, it's safety. And if you know the science, that's why it's so low. In fact, its loading is 0.3.
G. That's one third of our weight. Okay, so we live in a 1G world, it's a 0.3. So why would they go so low instead of going more, bigger, better, faster? Well, it's because the bone can take it. I mean, you can at high energy, these high you there's a lot of high energy shaking platforms out there. Right. And they're to the levels of absurdity. And I can go in detail on that. Juven is not that.

And the reason is the science. And what the the the
So the bone can take it. Bone is what's called very mechano-resilient. I can it can take a licking and keep on ticking. The rest of the body and other tissues, it's not the case. Even cartilage has a very narrow bandwidth of what is constructive impact loading versus destructive. Well, when you get to higher levels, well, then you have all the other soft tissues. You're knocking the body around and you you kind of don't want to go there. And these these platforms are re
They're really ridiculous in terms of energy levels. But you've the scientists found in animal studies that bone is not only mechanoresilient, it's extremely mechanosensitive, meaning it doesn't actually need high load. And if you're gonna you can do it with very small loads, and that's very important because our body can take high loads. Like when we walk, we get an impact load of about 1.2 G.

Okay, that's way higher than Juven. So one would think, well, why don't I make Juven 1.2G? Well, it's a matter of frequency. The body can take high loads, but it never sees a high load at high frequency. That's a completely different set of equations. And when you start putting high frequency, you have to get the load down because that's what keeps it safe.

Can I walk through in my head what that equation looks like? So I'm imagining myself in the morning. I'm walking my puppy to take his morning constitution, we're done on his morning constitution walk, and I'm stepping and I'm getting one point two G to each step. But between each step, there's impact, and then there's probably almost a second of nothing. Absolutely. So the force is is a very
limited amount of impact on that bone and not till the next step comes down on the alternating leg. So I've got this I've got a moment of impact, a moment of one point two Jesus. As opposed to me sitting there, if it was like me holding a jackhammer in the middle of the street. Correct. I would imagine the energy that would be absorbed through the body, my my not only my nervous system, but my shoulders and my wrists and my elbows would be taking that. And there would be I guess there's
at some point there's nowhere for that wave to go. There's nowhere for the energy to off gas. So eventually you're probably gonna have an injury. You're gonna have some wear and tear on that joint. That's correct. Okay.

Also other soft tissue. Right. See, because like in the walking step, that energy has in in this context infinite time to dissipate. It's one wave, body knows how to deal with that. And our brain, no problem. When you start putting 30, 40, 50 times a second, those waves are coming in when the next one hasn't gone anywhere. And so those tend to have a very different effect. And there's been studies have shown, there's a study of a and I I
Literally, and this was I just saw the other day, where they were taking a porcine brain and putting high impact loads at high frequency. And they were doing high levels because it's easier to measure, but the math is similar. And they found the input wave, they were finding spikes in the brain of the por again a pig, but pigs are very analogous to humans in a very many, many. They were finding spikes of five X.
And you have what's there's a you can take a bowl of water, and we've done this, and maybe we'll we'll show your viewers. If you take a bowl of water and put it on a juvenile, you have a very calm set of waves. They come, they go, it's it's pretty unspectacular. If you put that on a high energy plate, we take the same bowl, you'll literally watch that bowl, those waves explode and come into spikes. And those spikes are called Faraday spikes, and that's where those waves are combining and coming together. It's like a row wave.

I've got another analogy for you. Typhoon Lagoon it in Disney World used to be a wave park where they could send a sonic boom, there'd be one big and there'd be three rolling waves, or there's the chaos waves and when it's just like everything's jumbling up and down because the force is coming from multiple areas in the wave park.

That's correct. And you know, for hundreds of years they denied the existence of road waves. Yeah. You know, it's not obvious. But there is an actual very established body of literature on vibration safety and toxicity. However, it's in the occupational safety literature, not the clinical literature. So a lot of it's not on a lot of doctors' radar screens.
And I work with in this field a lot. So I've talked to some of these engineers who work, you know, to keep factory workers safe. And there's a very ISO 26, I'll have to come up with a number, 2640 or something that. And it's an established body. It's a very thick the math will choke anybody. And I'm an engineer, and trust me, it's complicated stuff. And I talk to these engineers and I tell them about these high energy plates. It takes about 10 minutes of on the phone for them to believe me.
They literally go, No, no one would stand on that. I I I my job is to protect workers from that environment. They're like sure. And and that their observations are spot on clinically.
Because there's now been white papers on vitreous injuries, detached retinas, cerebral injuries, I mean vascular injuries. And a white paper for your audience, so that's where a doctor sees something that he thinks clinically significant. He'll document it, write a paper, and it's not a full study. That's right. But for every white paper, you know, there's one would be logical to assume there's many, many, many more cases. And there have been lawsuits filed by one of the power against one of the powerful plate companies, and there
provider, you know, the studio that it was being used at. And so that's been real. It's the you know, that's gone from the clinical world to the legal world. And in that case, they the manufacturer settled and left the user is still holding the bag. Yeah.

And so, but the point is, you know, you can look at the literature and there's even charts in there. We'll put a graphic up on that showing, you know, for the engineers when they're in the field, they don't want to do the math every time. There'll be a chart and you can show we're clearly in the green and these others are clearly in the red. Don't go there. And so it's a really an important point because a lot of these plates, I mean, we took we we we were at a doctor's, we did the bowl of water. And the minute the doctor saw that, he goes, I'm never putting a patient on that again.

Well, they gave us the platform. We took it and we we couldn't believe it. We opened it up and on it was literally a spinning a motor with a spinning weights. We looked up the motor. According to Claude, said, yeah, that's an established industrial rock shaking motor. Used on industrial conveyor belts to break and shake rocks and separate them. I mean, that's how unsophisticated these things are. Yeah. You asked about what's in Juventus. That's

On the other hand, Juvant is a CNC milled mechanism with sub-millimeter precision built to Swisswatch tolerances to move the patient up and down 5% of one millimeter, controlled all the way up, controlled all the way down. It can independently control force and frequency. These other ones can't. Okay, let me explain that. Imagine an aerate siren.
Okay, an air raid siren to increase volume it has to increase pitch. Cause it's really just a spinning rotor making sounds goes.

Well they used to be hand cranked. That's right. Yeah.

But that's what these motors are. They can't control, they have very little, if any, control of intensity versus frequency. It's really just a spinning weight. That's like calling an aerial sign a musical instrument. Juven is like a Stradivarius. I mean, it can control unbelievable amounts of control. The second factor is there, because you're using low energy, one might think, that's inefficient. Well, the scientists
And engineers working together achieved the ability to find resonance. Okay, resonance is the natural frequency of a system to make an enormous effect from a small amount of force. Okay, so let me give you an example. In physics, the simplest example of resonance is a swinging pendulum.
So imagine a child on a swing. You push the child, comes back, you push the child. What you've done is found resonance. You get a small amount of energy, and you can swing the child, and you know, you can control it. That's what Juvent Software does. A PhD in controls engineering, which is extremely difficult. I'm an engineer. That's like high church. I mean, that's like those guys are on a whole other level. So
They were able to find the software to observe resonance each session for each patient. And so that takes that small amount of energy and gets a lot of work done. So imagine if the machine walks up to you, stand on it, it's like walking up to the child, closing your eyes and going, okay, okay, I got it. It finds it, everything's happy. These high-energy plates are the equivalent of walking up to the child blindly and doing this.

Talk to me about the idea that you said when you stand on the plate that it is finding resonance. We talked about resonance. The one I the one I like to use is like if we do have a very, very trained vocalist, very trained, and we have a glass, a wine glass with some fluid in it, and we start the if we ring the glass and match and start a pitch in the glass and the opera singer matches that tone, enough energy will meet the glass and we go psh, absolutely get the cellul cellular explosion, whatever you want to say.
How does stepping on the plate meet the individual user? It sounds like there's some type of a diagnostic function or a reading of that unique body type that stands on it. So my session is different than yours.

Absolutely. So what it's doing is when you stand on the Juvant, it will go through a safe range of frequencies. Okay. Okay. Because there are frequencies that kind of this kind of gets more complicated, but let's talk about it. There's a lot of these platforms that let the user dial in the frequency.

And they can pick one they want. Well, they're frequencies that are actually dangerous. You know, the teens will resonate major organs. You don't want to go there. And so that's the equivalent of telling somebody to go into a pharmacy and go, I'll go pick your medicine. Just whatever looks good to you. You know, you don't want to be there. So we stay within a safe range of frequencies. And it's about 32 to 37. And it will sweep within that range and watch how the body reacts.
And inside is a very accurate accelerometer that watches the motion and then the equations will do the math and go, okay, this is what Freddie needs. And that would be different than what I need. Now, if your weight, let's say I put a pediatric of a 40-pound kid on there, and we also have NFL players who are 280 pounds and even more, that's a very different amount of energy. So I wouldn't want to put a kid on something that's set up for an NFL player.
So the machine will never let the user get above 0.3G. Okay, it's always going to monitor that. And that way, when you put it in a clinic, you never have to worry about somebody hurting themselves because the software will take care of it. And it looks simple, but there's nothing simple about it. And so that's how they're able to get such amazing clinical efficacy with such a small amount of energy.

Let's go to clinical effic efficacy. Sure. when we are referencing something like the Juvent panel and we're talking about the existing science, what are you guys pulling from? You said this has been around, you said this was invent you've been selling juvents for fifteen years. Fifteen. But you said the technology was had an inception much earlier. Yeah.

What were they studying? What did they find? What did they see? You you mentioned petri dishes all the way up to animals. Yeah. And humans. Right.

So you know it's interesting and I'll I've invented a lot of things. I've been in
I invented spinal implants, I've invented a lot of things, and Juven is not one of them. I do not deserve that credit. In fact, it's actually way over my pay grade. Okay. So I like to get that on the record because there's some really amazing sharp people. And it was founded by a guy by the name of Jack Ribey. And Jack had invented other bone healing technologies that I had seen in the OR. So I invented spinal implants. I've been in thousands of surgeries. I've worked with hundreds and hundreds of doctors and all over the world. And I'd seen
His he'd done two other one was ultrasonic and one was electromagnetic. And they were for site-specific bone healing. So, for example, if you have a trying to get a fusion for a spinal fusion or a fracture, there's some patients who need help, and they call those a failed fusion. So these technologies Jack had worked on and developed to do that. So Jack was really going for the holy grail, the entire skeletal system for osteoporosis. And that's where he
Took this technology, bought it from the companies, sequestered it, did a great job, did everything right, except Jack died. And so this happened before we really had any involvement in it. Now, my brother and I, we've started some several companies, we started a biotech company and that discovered a new protein, novel protein, that's being used for it's a long story on its own. We can go there if you want to, but
that taught us how far ahead science was ahead of medicine. So look at the look, the analogy I use is on one side of the Grand Canyon is science, on the other side is medicine. And those bridges that get built are very expensive. They're called double blind perspective multi-center randomized studies. Okay. And the biohacking world is literally, that's kind of what they're doing. They're taking things that are scientific and not risky and using them.

So back then we were putting together a clinic which would now be called a functional medicine clinic. We were ahead of our time, the term hadn't been invented, and the doctors we were talking to had no concept of what we were doing. Well, today it's that's part, you know, that's that's great. But part of that was we were researching all these different modalities. Well, one of our colleagues came up to us and said, I want you to look at this company Juven. You know, the this we knew Jack Rioby's other technologies. Well, we'll have to look into it.
So, as part of the due diligence, we spent about a month or two doing nothing but research on this. We got one of the platforms. So now Jack died, the company went dormant, and my mom was coincidentally suffering a unfused pelvic fracture, which is one of the highest pain indications there is. And we were watching my mom go from a vertical
to a horizontal person. And this was a two-year-old fracture that had flared up. So we had this platform we borrowed from an osteoporosis patient. And we said, Mom, man, I'll try it. Well we watched her in about two weeks go from this to this, off her meds, no cane, no pain.
And we were like, mm-hmm, something's going on here. Well, we started doing the research and they'd done amazing research. And I kind of went to my brother and said, you know, Rush, with the clinic, we can help several thousand people. If we help proliferate this, there's 40 million people with osteoporosis alone. And that's and the team had focused mostly on osteoporosis, and they had studies on lower limb edema and balance. And we can talk about those mechanisms, there's slightly different mechanisms of action there.
But we focused on the osteoprocess portion of it. So we ended up acquiring the company's assets, and this was incredibly difficult to reproduce this machine because they're very difficult to make. They require C and C milled components, electronics, injection, molding. Well, fast forward we did that. Elon Musk said.

Now, when we're helping these patients with osteoporosis, we're getting these phone calls saying, you know, I bought this for osteoporosis, but my arthritis, all four types, and it just kept going on and on and on. And we realized there's a lot more going on here. So
That's where the plot thickens and it really gets interesting because the skeleton is an organ system. Okay? We have about 12 to 14, depending how you want to categorize them. And people, including spine surgeons, these are the top-trained orthopedic surgeons of the world, they would tell you the primary function of the bone is structural. It's not. It's absolutely not. Bones' primary functions are metabolic.
Its primary job is to produce stem cells. Guess what? Juvent increases stem cell production like 43%. Its secondary job, it produces the well, these stem cells become liquids and solids. So the in the liquid side would be blood, red blood cells for oxygen transport, all the white blood cells for our immune system, platelets for for blood. I mean, this is really important stuff. Yeah.
The solids are called mesochymals. And those cells can become about, they're up to about nine or ten different types cells. And so I went in there and I realized if that person lives another five years, that destroys their model. And I actually dated a girl who sold those spots. And I asked her about it. I said, just you know, I said, what if we added five years to people's life? She goes, I'd have no inventory to sell. So you and you are the one that's gonna help your parent. That's not their.
That's not their role. Their role is to monetize that trajectory down. Or or not That's right. It's not to preserve it. It's just kind of the way that system works. And there was a a local nursing home in my town I went that got a juvent and the PT didn't know anything about it. And

He looked at this study and said, that's the most significant study in orthopedics in at least 20 years. Now, this is a guy who lives and breathes bone.
research and spinal into the whole world. Now let me tell you the study. The the population group was post chemo leukemia transplant patients. These are the bone marrow transplant patients. Okay. They have a known indication of osteoporosis even in their early twenties. These these kids were young, kids or young adults. So that

Well, it's what they're doing is they're transplanting they're taking all the biology of out from the bone, leaving the structure and replanting the biology to grow again. So those kids have a known you know, those kids those kids can s expect to have a hip transplant at thirty. You know, their their skeletal system's alive, but it's not thriving. So that was the group. And what they did, they created fake
Juvent platforms, meaning they just had a speaker but weren't moving. And wouldn't the patient wouldn't know that. The clinicians didn't know that. They were double-blinded. And they had real platforms that were active. They also randomized, so it's randomized, double-blind, placebo, and the
Kids, the patients were endocrinologically and nutritionally managed. Because you know, bone is juvenile's not a magic bullet. It's you know, it's a link in the chain, it's not the whole chain. You have other systems you have to look at. So they took those and managed them so there weren't gross deficiencies to limit the variables. Now, in bone regeneration, in osteoporosis, the world would be a 1% gain is a huge, that's a headline.
Okay, even if you maintain it at zero for an osteoporosis patient, to reduce the decline, that's a that's a headline. Okay, just give you a metric. So the sham group or the placebo group, they had a 1% bone loss. That's okay, that's norm. The active group had a gain.

10%. The study researchers, they submitted it to JAMA, Journal of American Medical Association, one of the most prestigious in the world. JAMA had them, I think, sent back to get two or three separate analysis of the data and the films and the before they would publish it. They're like, it doesn't happen. You're off, you're off by an order of magnitude. Well, it's published, it's out there. And so when people say, that's not enough impact load to be clinically relevant, no, it is.
But so either way, that's the study, it's there. And you know, you get studies that will show ambiguous results, but they tend to have too many variables or a poorly designed study. And, you know, there's a little bit of I'll leave it at that.

Make sense? Or if something's prohibitively expensive that would displace, or something that displaces another therapy. Make sense? And that criteria is very important. In juvent's context, none of those actually apply. It's not high cost, it's not high risk, and it doesn't displace anything. You know, it's juvent or this, it's juvent, yeah, because it's a fundamental requirement. And so we don't make claims on all these indications, we can't do that.
But what we do do is say to every Juvent buyer, if you buy a Juvent, use it for six weeks, as much as you want. Your family, we don't care. It's six weeks. If you don't think it's worth it, then we'll buy it back.

This is maybe a surprise to many of you and maybe your viewers. Mechanism of action is actually not a fundamental requirement for the approval of a treatment. There are many drugs that they get approve based on the data and the outcome, and they don't fully understand the mechanism of action. So, example, one of the biggest erection drugs out there was literally for blood pressure. They didn't under they didn't know the mechanism of action. They just observed it, and bam, that's where we have that. So
The mechanism of action, we can kind of infer them and we don't try to outdo our pay grade because we know we don't know. And a lot of times I get questions from doctors that I can't answer. And I just tell them, guys, this is a com this is an organ system. We're gonna study this for another hundred years and not answer all the questions. I don't understand sleep's mechanism of actions fully, but I sure as hell know I need it.
So a lot of these we won't know. And that's one of the reasons I created the term vitacin, because the quicker we identify it, the quicker we can then address it and start to learn more about it. Because trust me, bone is as complicated as anything. Okay? It is a, again, it's a complete organ system. There is no organ system, we know every mechanism of action. But if you don't know the mechanism of action, you gotta look at high cost, high, high risk, and displacement of a known therapy. The mechanism of action is secondary.
And a lot of times in in in I I'll help you know work with cancer patients, okay? And a lot of doctors, they'll literally categorically shit on a treatment because I don't know the mechanism of action. I go, it's not high risk, it's not just high cost, not gonna display something. Try it. You have nothing to lose. Yeah. Who cares? Well if the patient lives, we'll figure that out later.

But if it works and it's safe, then it's it's technically a non-requirement. Now, there's speaking of that,
I wanna circle back a little bit. You talked about lymphatic drainage. So juvent has a secondary mechanism of action. That's that's that's kind of a fun one. And that's actually one of the most predictable of the juvent effects. Now, when people get on a juvent, I told you we buy it back at six weeks and they don't think it's worth it.

That stimulus is enough to invoke a muscular response and more specifically the balance muscles. And muscles are not heterogeneous. I mean there's different fiber types for different functions. So like lifting is different than balancing. And so the balance muscles, it's like having a personal trainer work on the balance muscles. Well, that muscular activity is significant in a lot of ways, about three or four clinical ways. Number one, it promotes circulation, but not only blood circulation.

You won't recognize us in a few weeks is my prediction. He sent me a picture six weeks later, you put him together, you're like, wow.
Yeah. And so that's actually a really cool thing. But that's promoting lymphatic flow for detox. We get used in a lot of detox algorithms. It promotes wound healing. You know, we have elderly people with, you know, an older person, when they get a wound, it's hard to heal, especially on the legs. That extremity. Those wounds can take months and months to heal. And we've got stories on that.
But it also helps balance because when we get older, one of the issues is that the nervous system can be fine, inner ear, vestibular, all that. But when they're firing signals at the muscles, they're not carrying them out in the normal amount of time. So the net you have a net balance loss. Well, activating those muscles can help improve the balance. And for an older person, that fall that you prevent is way more significant than it may appear.
You know, there's a known study is on when somebody falls, they break a hip, and guess what? That's what puts them in the nursing home and there's a cascading event down. Yeah. My mom actually tripped and that's what put her in the nursing home. But the doctor was amazed about her bone quality. It's like, wow, you know, you're you're ninety years, ninety one years old and you're yeah, well, you got some pretty good bone. I mean, y you you fell, you tripped, that's just that happens. But but my point is that's another one of these things of extending somebody's health span.
Maybe not the lifespan, that's even a bigger claim. But you know, it's it's such a key component. And the thing is that you get so many different mechanisms at each age. Again, we'll again we're gonna study this hundreds of years. And my and my my my gut check right now is like, I don't want to do this reductionist semantics on the word and try say it's good or bad.
But the more I'm in the space and the more I learn, the more I realize there are not necessarily, they're not shortcuts, right? I'm a complex system of complex systems. And I don't know how interjecting one intervention is gonna play out over six months. There's cell to cell signaling, there's energetic realms of healing, there's belief system, there's so much to it. But if I see something go into a closed system and I see the result again and again and again, and I start to see it be repeatable.
Like that's where I lean in and say, hey, this is a therapy that's beneficial for the terrain. And I feel really good about the existing science. I feel really good about my personal experience. And then I've seen it go into clinical practice. Because again, as a as a technology consultant who's worked with companies with ideas and devices that have gone through the FDA and had to prove
what they do and get billing codes and more importantly create a a realm where people understand that it's safe, that the risk profile, to your point, is very low and it's not overly expensive. I start to build my confidence in that. And that's what I've done over time. I I've had a great experience with Juvett. Well, if I'm beating this kid, I'm actually swinging the kid, and I can make that claim. I swing kids higher than you do. But you have to ignore the fact the kid's crying, bruised, and bleeding. If this glass of water
I drink out of a puddle versus this beautiful pure glass of water. Both of them will treat my thirst. But one, I have to deal with the toxic effects. So in the context of vibration, these guys, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, they actually it will work. The bone can take it. Bone is extremely tough, but it doesn't need it. It's the rest of the body that you gotta worry about. Does that make sense? So the trick is to get the Holy Trinity safe.
Effective and convenient. It's easy to get two of those. Safe is walking. Not very convenient. Most people don't have time to walk that many steps. Effective, yeah. If I jump off a top of a building and land on the bottom, my femur goes, yeah, okay, bring it on. The rest of the body's beat up. And if I want to make something convenient, well, that's what juvent is. You know, you can do it efficiently. And you know, the other thing is when you're on a juvent, you're gonna be on it 10 to 20 minutes a day.

Yeah, so with regard to the biohacking, I think there's a kind of a a key point that I have to teach a lot of MDs. I work with a lot of doctors and I, you know, they're they're amazing people, they do what I can't do. But one of the fundamental things we all overlook is before I treat a indication, I want to do two things. Address deficiencies, remove toxins. Everything is subservient to that.

So for any indication, whatever it is, look for the deficiency and the toxin. And if you need a treatment, a drug, or whatever to bridge that gap from the acute phase, manage the chronic disease. Those are the fundamental requirements. That's where Juvent fits.
